T.Y. Hilton Ready To Bounce Back

T.Y. Hilton came into week one’s game against the Oakland Raiders with a lot of hype that was created by his stellar rookie season and impressive preseason.

Unfortunately, Hilton disappointed a lot of people with his extremely quiet day with only three catches for 20 yards.

Following the game, Hilton was much of the talk around the Colts.

hilton2Head coach Chuck Pagano said one of the first things the staff talked about was getting Hilton more touches moving forward, and that he simply needs more plays.

Offensive coordinator Pep Hamilton said, “It’s a bit premature to be critical of a lack of snaps for T.Y. Hilton. He is a valued playmaker in our offense.”

Hamilton also said the lack of possessions hurt Hilton, and more possessions will create more opportunities for the young receiver.

Andrew Luck said, “Getting T.Y. the ball is always a priority. Thought Sunday was just the nature of that game, you’ll see more of Hilton.”

Expect the Colts to get Hilton involved early against the Miami Dolphins this weekend.
